In-the-canal (ITC) hearing aids are custom-made to fit within the ear and offer many of the same practical benefits as in-the-ear hearing aids in a smaller, more discreet design. Unlike a full ITE hearing aid, an ITC does not extend into the upper portion of the outer ear, helping it sit lower and appear less noticeable while still remaining relatively easy to insert and remove.
