Great experience! Wonderful explanation of all testing, and never felt rushed and answered every question. My first visit there and was overly impressed.

I have worn hearing aids for over 25 years. despite buying the best Starkey models I was never happy with the results. So I used to keep them in my dresser drawer more than I wore them. When I moved down to FL my wife demanded that I go and see somebody to get a new pair, something I could actually hear with. She found Joe Mutter at Mutters Hearing. I scheduled an appoint, went in and when he looked at my hearing aids he said "I doupt that you can hear anything with the settings on these". He tested my hearing. took my existing Starkey models and determined that I needed a different ear piece (custom fitted to my ear canal) that magnified the sound to make it louder and clearer. A week lated when the new ear pieces came in he installed them and then proceeded with a 40 minute question and answer session about my life style. When finished he tuned my aids with specific settings for things like watch TV, restaurant, everyday, and car. When he finished I was hearing better than I had in 50 years. The Audiologist in DC never considered my needs or set my hearing aids to my needs. Joe Mutter did everything RIGHT. He is a small local business that cares about his patients. He takes the time to make sure you are happy with your aids. I see you can now buy hearing aids over the counter. Remember it is not just the hearing aids you need you need professional fitting, adjustment and follow up care, That service is invaluable if you want to live a full life. And quit saying to your spouse and friends WHAT?, HUH? I CAN'T HEAR YOU. They will be as happy as you will be after your see Joe'

I just purchased my second pair of hearings aids from Joe Mutter. I would never consider going any where else. I have very challenging hearing issues and Joe is extremely patient in helping me to achieve total satisfaction in my hearing aids. He works very hard to make sure you leave happy and stay happy. He is absolutely the best!!!

Our mom had an appointment to pick up her new Hearing aids but passed away on the day of the appointment. The aids had to have a specially made earpiece. We wanted to pay Joe Mutter for his work, but he wouldn't take it. He was tremendously supportive and kind.
